What You Can Do

The AARC relies on dedicated, committed respiratory therapists and friends of the profession to help in our advocacy efforts. From writing letters and e-mails to visiting with members of Congress or state legislators and their staff members, here's a detailed description of how you can get involved.

AARC Capitol Connection
Through this important Web site you can access information about Congressional Committees, discover the way your Senators and Representatives vote for legislation, keep up with federal, state, and local elections, and participate in calls to action for issues affecting repiratory patients and therapists.

Contact Your State Society Leaders
An updated list of your State Society PACT leaders is available for you. You can help by assisting in organizing legislative days at your State Capitol, writing letters to members of Congress, and much more. Contact your state leaders by using our PACT Leader List. You may also want to contact other members of your State Society Leadership.
