AARC 2018 Request for Proposals

"The deadline to submit proposals
has passed"

We invite you to submit a proposal for presentation at Summer Forum and/or AARC Congress. If you are interested in delivering a presentation for one of the meetings, please read the helpful tips below.

Who May Submit a Proposal?

Proposals may be submitted by individuals with interest in the practice of cardiorespiratory care. You may submit a proposal on behalf of another presenter so long as the other party is aware of and has agreed to be included in your proposal.

NOTE: Presenters are required to disclose ALL relationships with industry over the last 24 months (regardless of its relevance to the delivered presentation). Proposals submitted by industry (or anyone with a relationship to industry) must disclose all real or perceived conflicts of interest (COI).

Submitting a Proposal

  • Be prepared to finish submitting a proposal in one sitting as there is no option to save and return later.
  • Each proposal should consist of one stand-alone lecture or one symposium (which includes multiple related lectures). You may submit as many proposals as you like.
  • You will receive a confirmation email every time you submit a proposal. If you do not receive the email, or if you have any changes, please contact Annissa Buchanan as soon as possible. No changes will be accepted after December 31, 2018

Selection Process

Proposals not in compliance with the proper format will NOT be considered. Proposals will be chosen by the AARC Program Committee on the basis of originality, relevance of topic, proposed presentation style, and scientific excellence.

You will be notified of the decision by the AARC Program Committee by June 30th, 2019. All decisions are final.

If you have any questions about the selection or submission process, please e-mail Annissa Buchanan.
