Where Managers and Educators Meet to Talk Shop and Discuss New Ideas and Strategies in Respiratory Care
All meetings are held at the Vail Mountain Marriott Resort & Spa
The AARC Summer Forum promises an enhanced experience in 2011. Through both lectures and interactive, collaborative sessions, the management/leadership workshop will provide attendees with the deliverable skills they’ll need to immediately implement change within their organization to engage employees, improve efficiencies, and become better leaders. Attendees will also be provided with quantifiable action plans to be used as a roadmap for sustained success.
Educators will be exposed to innovative teaching and learning strategies. Don’t miss out on the Jimmy Young Lecture that highlights themes of ethics in testing and preparation for the NBRC exam. The Fred Helmholz lecture will also offer a critical review of the different career paths available to RT students. Attendees can view research abstracts that are pertinent to the art and science of respiratory therapy education. There will be updated information on accreditation, too.
In addition to these concurrent tracks for educators and managers over 2 1⁄2 days, you will have the opportunity to:
- Interact with thought-leaders in your profession.
- Hear the latest research efforts from your peers.
- Network and share ideas with other managers and educators.
- Visit one-on-one with the AARC Corporate Partners.
- Discover what’s current with selected book publishers.
And, of course, you’ll earn up to 17.09 hours of continuing education credit (CRCE®) credits, too.
