CMS Seeks Comments on COPD Quality Measures

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is getting ready to develop 30-day all cause mortality and 30-day all cause readmission measures for COPD and is seeking comments on the measures now through July 8.

While all comments are welcome, CMS is particularly looking for feedback in the following areas:

1. Cohort for inclusion in the measures
2. Inclusion/exclusion criteria
3. Risk adjustment strategy
