• Patrice Pratoomratana is the go-to person for information about a recent study on “third hand smoke” – defined as the toxic chemicals left after the smoke from a cigarette blows away – in this article on the KIDK-TV Web site out of Idaho Falls, ID. “You smell it but you don't see anything; it’s on the walls, on the floors, on your clothes and your hair,” she was quoted as saying.

Angela Chapman, Rachel Clifford, and Niya Hagans are noted for taking third place in the Student Bowl, while Rusty Sugg, Wayne Tainor, and Ray Braxton, who competed in the National Bowl, are mentioned for their participation. Wendy Ayscue, who was on the practitioner team but could not make the meeting, is quoted in both of the stories.
