  • Suhey Lopez comments on a former patient’s visit to her hospital in this article in the Tallahassee, FL, Democrat. The man was treated there after a devastating fall from his horse.
  • Gordon Brown is the go-to person for information on mechanical ventilation in premature infants in this article and video on the KELOLAND TV web site out of Sioux Falls, SD. “Sometimes they’re born so premature, and they’re so tiny, most of the energy they expend is in trying to breathe for themselves,” he was quoted as saying. “So if we can take over that work of breathing, the baby can spend more energy and calories growing and developing and continue to mature.”
