  • June Schulz talks about using harmonicas with her pulmonary rehabilitation patients in this article in the Sioux Falls, SD, Argus Leader. (Stay tuned to your November issue of AARC Times for more about this great program from June.)

  • Beverly Jacoby is noted as the instructor for a stop smoking course offered by her hospital in this article in the Wilton, CT, Villager. "Group support and expert counseling are key aspects of our program," she was quoted as saying.

  • John Duquette’s candidacy for town council is the subject of this article in the Hartford, CT, Courant.

  • Thomas Campo is noted for his involvement in his hospital’s new pulmonary rehabilitation program in two recent articles: this one in the Ft. Myers, FL, News-Press and this one in the Citizen out of Lehigh Acres, FL.

  • Scott May comments on his hospital’s new pediatric helicopter in this article in the Lawrence, KS, Journal World. The helicopter is the first in the region to have the most advanced safety features, such as night vision goggles and a computer than can track weather and air traffic.

  • Jessica Arnold receives kudos for winning her hospital’s Extra Mile Award in this article in the Dalton, GA, Daily Citizen. “It is very flattering to be recognized by the leadership team,” she was quoted as saying.

  • Angela Lindale shares information about a free asthma education program developed by her RT department in this article in Delaware’s Cape Gazette.  The Breathe with Ease program focuses on medications, triggers, and action plans.

  • Peggy Winder is noted for participating in a health fair in this article in the Muncy, PA, Luminary. Peggy screened people for COPD at the event.

  • Ron Trudel comments in this article in the Craig, CO, Daily Press about one of his staff who just earned the RPSGT credential. “This is an exciting time for the TMH Sleep Study program,” he said in the article. “As we are expanding our services, we are also investing in the continuing education and certification of our sleep study technicians.”

  • Krista Duncan is noted for earning her bachelor’s degree in respiratory care in this article in the Enterprise out of Moody County, SD. Krista is a summer graduate of North Dakota State University.
