Her hospital recently received a donation of seven vents from a local air ambulance company. “Having these extra vents makes us very well prepared for the flu season,” she was quoted as saying.

  • Our member who is serving in the Michigan Legislature, Dian Slavens, talks about an event to test toys for toxic materials in this article on the Associated Newspapers of Michigan web site. “Prolonged exposure to toys containing chemicals like lead, mercury and arsenic can greatly hurt our children’s health and development,” she was quoted as saying. “That’s why I encourage folks to take advantage of this free testing to make sure that the toys your kids are playing with are safe.”
