For scenes and news from last year’s event, see the 2007 Gazette and last year’s Congress program.

P.S. If you’re new to the profession or this annual event and want to see if the Congress is right for you, here are some things to consider.

Why Should You Attend?

Gain All the CRCEs You Need

Extend your professional knowledge and earn all the CRCEs you need for licensing in one 4-day event. Choose from more than 250 programs in every area of respiratory care presented by leaders in the field, names that you know. If you’re an earlybird, breakfast sessions provide even more credits. And you can maximize your travel investment, too, with the pre-Congress Asthma Educator Preparation Course.

Learn From the Latest Research

Hear original research during 18 RESPIRATORY CARE OPEN FORUM sessions as practitioners present results of their scientific studies. Sessions are offered daily over the 4 days of Congress, with similarly focused abstracts combined into separate symposia and interactive discussion encouraged. Posters expand the information being presented. Together these 300+ abstracts will cover management, asthma, COPD, ventilation, bench studies, rehabilitation, smoking cessation, home care, sleep apnea, education, neonatal/pediatrics, and more.
