Convention Site/Headquarters Hotel
All official Congress lectures and exhibits, unless otherwise noted, will take place at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 South Franklin Street, Tampa, Florida, 33602; 813-274-8511.
The headquarters hotel is the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina, 700 S. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602. The official social functions will be held at the Marriott.
Hotel Reservations
Reservation Deadlines
Wednesday, October 12 is the deadline to make your reservation at the AARC discounted rates. After this date, the official AARC room blocks may be released by the hotels and they may charge significantly higher rates for any rooms that are still available. Reservations made from October 13 to October 27 will be processed through the AARC Housing Bureau on a space/rate available basis.

Three Ways to Make Hotel Reservations
For best availability and immediate confirmation, make your reservation online via the link below. Faxed or mailed housing requests will take longer to process and choice hotels may not be available. Do not send the housing form to the AARC Executive Office or individual conference hotels; it will delay processing your request. Do not call the hotels’ central reservations numbers.
Access Code for Reservations
Attendees must use the Access Code AARCATTN2011 to make a reservation online, via fax or mail.

Use the link to go directly to the AARC Housing Bureau web page. Internet booking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Fax Reservations
Fax your completed reservation form with a credit card number for guarantee to the AARC Housing Bureau at (813) 218-3369. Only one room reservation per form.
Mail your completed reservation form with a credit card number for guarantee to the AARC Housing Bureau, 401 E. Jackson Street, Suite 2100, Tampa, FL 33602 USA. Only one room reservation per form.

Guarantee
A credit card guarantee of one night’s room and tax is required with each reservation request. Housing forms received without a valid credit card will be returned without being processed. Credit cards must be valid through November 30, 2011 to be considered a proper guarantee.
No cash or check deposits are accepted. If you need assistance setting up special billing, please email Housing@VisitTampaBay.com.
Special Requests
Special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, hotels will do their best to honor all requests. Hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability.
The Marriott, Sheraton & Westin are smoke free hotels. The Embassy Suites has a limited number of smoking rooms and they cannot be guaranteed.
Confirmations
Confirmations will be sent from the Housing Bureau after each reservation booking, modification, or cancellation. Review it carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive a confirmation via e-mail within 14 days after any transaction, please contact the Housing Bureau via the fax number (813) 218-3369 or email address Housing@VisitTampaBay.com. You will not receive a written confirmation from the hotel.
Changes to Reservations
Contact the AARC Housing Bureau via online, fax, mail or email for new reservations, changes or cancellations through October 27, 2011. After this date, direct all changes to the designated hotel.
Cancellations/Penalties
Any cancellation received within 72 hours of arrival is subject to one night’s room and tax penalty charged by your confirmed hotel.
Your confirmed hotel may assess an early departure fee for departure date changes at check-in.
