Tune in Wednesday, May 11 at 2 p.m. Eastern time for a glimpse of a new initiative under the DRIVE4COPD banner.

We will review the results from last year’s program and talk about how respiratory therapists can get involved, raise the visibility of the profession, and help find undiagnosed COPD patients.

The program should last about a half hour and is free to all AARC members.

DRIVE4COPD is a public health campaign aimed at identifying those who could be at risk for COPD. The program was named Healthcare Campaign of the Year last year by PRWeek. AARC was integrally involved in carrying out a major portion of the campaign by screening tens of thousands of Americans under the DRIVE4COPD umbrella.

This year we are extending our involvement with the program, which gives you more opportunities for fulfilling community service commitments and influencing COPD testing and awareness in your community.

Be sure to sign in for our short webcast to learn more. As a new twist, we’ll randomly choose three people to receive “valuable prizes” at the end of the webcast. Tune in to see if you’re a lucky winner.
