AARC DigiMags Deliver a More Convenient Reading Experience

If you’re like a lot of folks these days, you do most–if not all–of your reading online. Whether it’s the latest headlines on CNN or that just-published novel from your favorite author, you simply find it more comfortable and convenient to use the digital reading format.

The AARC is on board with the concept. We’ve been offering a DigiMag version of AARC Times for about a year and a half now, and this spring we took Respiratory Care into the digital age as well, with not only a DigiMag format but also an HTML format that allows you to click through to all the resources cited in the Journal articles.

Note to Canada:  Your threatening postal strike may be just the reason you need to check into DigiMag convenience.

Of course, not everyone has jumped on this bandwagon. So if you’re one of the many AARC members who are still waiting patiently for their AARC publications to show up in the mailbox, here are four great reasons to check out our electronic versions—

  1. First and foremost, you get your DigiMags days sooner than you get your paper copies–that means you can catch up on the latest in the world of respiratory care at the same time as all of your media-savvy colleagues.
  2. The DigiMags are archived on AARC.org (for AARC Times) and RCJournal.com (for Respiratory Care). No more digging through piles of old magazines to find the one you want.
  3. Since they’re out here in cyberspace, our DigiMag versions are available anywhere you find a computer or tablet device that’s connected to the Internet–that means you can read your publications at home, at work, or on the go. You can even pull up that article or study you were just discussing with a colleague while you’re still at the patient’s bedside.
  4. You can connect immediately to advertisers, to the AARC, to staff, because links are built in from the pages of the DigiMag direct to the sources you want to reach.

So take a few moments to check out our latest digital versions—June AARC Times and RESPIRATORY CARE—and see what you’ve been missing!
