Members of the Long Term Care, Management, Neonatal-Pediatrics, Sleep, and Surface & Air Transport Sections can read the Summer issues of their Bulletins online now.

Click on the following links to access these great publications—

Long Term Care: We have a great article on pediatric long term care in this issue that should get everyone thinking outside the box when it comes to the patient populations who can benefit from care in this setting.

Management: Two more managers share their experiences with unexpected job losses and how they landed on their feet, and we also have an informative article on clinical actigraphy studies, the results of an AARC survey on the RT’s role in medication delivery, and a look at how quality and manpower issues affect our departments.

Neonatal-Pediatrics: An RT and physician join forces to discuss the pros and cons of closed loop oxygen control in this issue, and we also have a wonderful article on a program aimed at supplying third world countries with a simple product that we take for granted here in the U.S.: soap. Section Chair Cyndi White rounds out the issue with an update on section activities in her “Notes” column.

Sleep: This issue includes two informative articles for sleep professionals: a look at health care information security in the sleep lab and an overview of clinical actigraphy studies and how you can put them to use in your center.

Surface & Air Transport: Section Chair Steve Sittig updates us on section activities in his “Notes” column and provides some information on our upcoming new website and an international mission to help children in Costa Rica. We have a great article on acting as an expert witness from an attorney as well, and Steve also writes about an inspiring pediatric patient and provides another transport exam review, this time on transposition of the great arteries.
