AARC Leadership Announces the Retirement of its Executive Director

Irving, Texas. The leadership of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) would like to take this opportunity to announce the impending retirement of its Executive Director, Saverio (Sam) Giordano in June of 2012.

The AARC’s Executive Committee, under current President Stewart and Immediate Past President Myers, has been working with Mr. Giordano since February of 2010 to prepare the Association for its first change in the Executive Director position in over 30 years of inspiring and visionary leadership.

In January of 2012, more detailed announcements and information will be provided on the search criteria and timelines for the new AARC Executive Director under the guidance of President Stewart and her appointed search committee.
