• Dolly Kervitsky is noted as the newly appointed vice president of patient relations for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in this press release on PRNewswire. “Ms. Kervitsky’s contributions to the pulmonary fibrosis community have been enormous, as evidenced by her impressive history at National Jewish Health and co-authorship of the New England Journal of Medicine paper released today,” Foundation President and CEO Daniel M. Rose, was quoted as saying. The study he refers to, “A Common MUC5B Promoter Polymorphism is Associated with Pulmonary Fibrosis” discusses new genetic findings.

• Randy Romero is interviewed about his independent diagnostic testing facility in this article in the Mail Tribune out of Southern Oregon. “What I like about respiratory therapy is the diagnostic part. That’s what sparked me to go into business for myself,” he told the reporter.
