• David Panzlau shares great news about the success his most recent graduating class had on the CRT exam in this article in the Flint, MI, Journal. All 17 of the grads passed the test and have earned their license to practice. David and his colleagues decided to brag a little on this achievement by making a special poster of all the grads and putting it up around campus. (See poster below.)
  
  

• Christy Dressler talks about the risks and rewards of working as a member of an air medical transport team in this article in the Kansas City Star. “When you take on the responsibility of being a member of this team, you’re aware of the risk. It’s not out of your mind,” she was quoted as saying. “You also know we’re doing everything we can to be as safe as possible.” The article was written after a deadly air ambulance crash took four lives.

• Teresa O'Neal explains how the then president of her hospital encouraged her to get into respiratory care in this article on GoUpstate.com out of Spartanburg, SC, about the facility’s 90th birthday.  “I was 18 years old and scared to death because the president of the hospital wanted to see me,” she was quoted as saying. “He said, ‘I understand you want to be a respiratory therapist. … We need more of those.'” That was 37 years ago, and now she’s director of respiratory care and sleep services at the facility.

• Megan Whitmer’s husband is the topic of this article in the Walla Walla, WA, Union-Bulletin. He just took a new job managing a local clinic and the article talks about how the family is enjoying their new community.
