AARC Supports Rule to Expand Patient’s Access to their Test Results

The AARC recently joined with over 600 other organizations in signing onto a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) supporting a proposed new rule that will expand the rights of patients to access their test results. Currently only a few states permit patients direct access to their test results. This new rule if finalized will make this right available in all 50 states. The AARC continues its mission to advocate not only for our profession but the patients we serve.
