The AARC has announced the addition of Boehringer Ingelheim and Forest Laboratories to its Corporate Partner Program.

Boehringer Ingelheim, formerly an AARC Corporate Partner from 2003–2009, rejoined the program for 2013. Forest Laboratories is a first-time Corporate Partner.

“We are extremely pleased to have these companies joining with us to show their support for the nation’s respiratory therapists and their patients,” says Tom Kallstrom, MBA, RRT, FAARC and Executive Director of the AARC.

2013 marks the 10th anniversary of the Corporate Partner program. It provides additional avenues for collaboration between the companies and the AARC to work together for the benefit of patients suffering from respiratory disease.

Headquartered in Ingelheim, Germany, Boehringer Ingelheim operates globally with 145 affiliates and more than 44,000 employees. It provides research, development, manufacturing and marketing of medications for human and veterinary medicine.

Forest Laboratories of New York City has pharmaceutical products for the central nervous system, cardiovascular system, and anti-infective and respiratory medicines.

The companies join a family of other AARC Corporate Partners.
