QRCR Enrollment/Recertification Underway Now

With the new emphasis on patient satisfaction in hospitals and other health settings, it is more important now than ever before for providers to set themselves apart from the crowd.

The AARC’s Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) program can help your organization shine when it comes to the provision of respiratory care services, and now is the time to earn the designation. The annual open enrollment/recertification period kicked off January 1 and runs through March 31.

QRCR is available for hospitals, home care providers, and long term care providers that meet a strict set of standards. A standard requiring hospitals to use a process that periodically compares performance of the respiratory therapy department on efficiency and quality metrics with similar departments for the purpose of identifying and achieving best practice was added in 2010 to further enhance the value of the designation.
