AARConnect Contest:
Put a Face On It!

September 26, 2013

All AARC members have access to the best tool ever for getting information, gaining feedback and sharing ideas—but many of you don’t even know it exists!

It’s AARConnect, a social network for members only. All members are automatically subscribed to the service, but until you log in, activate your account, and start using the information that’s at your fingertips, you don’t know what you're missing.

  1. Help Line access. Ask and answer pertinent clinical and professional questions. Get answers from members across the country.
  2. Network member-to-member. Find members in your area for (real life) social or professional events.
  3. Find past friends. Do you wonder where some past classmates might be? They could be on AARConnect.
  4. Samples and documents. Find samples of forms and protocols others have posted online, in our Help Line, in the Specialty Section-specific communities and in our Roundtables.

AARC Member

Are you shy and don’t want a personal picture? We’ve got the answer. We’ve made this general AARC Member graphic that you can upload direct to AARConnect in your picture space.

There’s a lot to like about AARConnect, but unless you’ve been using it, you’ve been missing out.

Here’s your incentive to get involved. We’ll be giving out twice-a-month $50 Visa cards to people who log in, update their profile, post a picture of themselves, and get to the business of sharing and networking. All you need to do is log in and go to the profile section. We’ll track who has made a change in their profile, and give out a $50 Visa gift card on the 15th and 30th of each month beginning Oct. 1 through Nov. 30. (Do you already have a photo uploaded? Don't worry; you're automatically entered in our first drawing.)
