Members of the Long-Term Care, Management, Neonatal-Pediatrics, and Surface & Air Transport Sections can read the Spring issues of their Bulletins online now. The Sleep Bulletin is on hiatus this issue.

Click on the following links to access these great publications—

Long-Term Care: Section Chair Lorraine Bertuola kicks things off with a look at how her facility is working to reduce COPD readmissions, and from there we have great articles on CPAP compliance in long-term care and the importance of proper coding in reimbursement.

Management: Managers will find plenty of need-to-know information here, with articles on electronic data management and data analytics, and getting therapists on board with HCAHPS, plus the final edition of our series on pulmonary rehab, this time focusing on Phase 3 programs.

Neonatal-Pediatrics: Co-Editor Jenni Raake provides a great overview of pediatric necrotizing pneumonia and we also have an informative article on the use of pulse oximetry to measure oxygen saturation.

Surface & Air Transport: Co-Editor Steve Sittig brings us up to date on issues impacting the transport specialty in his Notes column, and shares his recent experiences lecturing to students in Texas in another story. We also have an article on the FAA final rule to improve helicopter safety, and Co-Editor Bryan Byrd helps us get to know a transport therapist from Minnesota in a Member Spotlight feature. We close out the issue with an interesting account of one RT’s experience with water egress training.
