AARC Election Results Announced

AARC elections concluded early this month, and President George Gaebler has announced the results.

The results of this year’s officers and directors election is:

• Vice President for Internal Affairs
  Lynda Goodfellow, EdD, RRT, AE-C

• Vice President for External Affairs
  Cynthia White, MSc, RRT-NPS, AE-C, FAARC

• Secretary-Treasurer
  Karen Schell, DHSc, RRT-NPS, RRT-SDS, RPFT, RPSGT, AE-C, CTTS

• Directors at large
  Timothy Op't Holt, EdD, RRT, AE-C
  Lisa Trujillo, DHSc, RRT

Frank Salvatore, who has served as president-elect for the past year, will be installed as AARC president, to serve a two-year term, at this year’s Annual Business Meeting in Las Vegas. Other directors who will be continuing to serve out their terms are: Keith Lamb (Adult Acute Care), Kim Wiles (Home Care Section), Natalie Napolitano (Neonatal Section), and at-large directors Sheri Tooley, Gary Wickman, and Bill Lamb. Joining the Board for their first terms will be Cheryl Hoerr (Management Section) and Ellen Becker (Education Section).

Three AARC Specialty Sections held elections, and the chair-elects are:

• Long Term Care Section
  Gene Gantt, RRT

• Transport Section
