The projects are being made possible by a grant his facility received from the U.S. Air Force and will look at aspects of air medical evacuation and how it affects patients, medical professionals, and medical equipment.

  • Dennis Maid explains why his hospital decided to initiate 24 hour RT coverage in the ED in this article on NorthCountryNOW.com out of New York. “We expanded coverage to ensure victims of trauma or those experiencing a worsening of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or other respiratory crises could be supported by specialists in respiratory and pulmonary care,” he was quoted as saying.
