What is your vision of the AARC in 2015?
As respiratory care and sleep medicine become a stronger and more organized entity in the Unites States, the need for dedicated and committed members and affiliates will be mandatory. Health care change evolution demands highly motivated and dedicated people who can represent our professions in Congress.
What have you done in the last 5 years to promote the profession in your community?
I am a strong advocate of education and work with Independence University to promote continuing education and clinical exposure. Through the clinical ladder structure, I encourage high school visitation throughout the year and volunteer through my organization to educate and promote our professions by sponsoring the Shadow Program for high school students.
