Congress 2012 Videos Now Available
If you attended AARC Congress 2012, you probably think you’ve gotten all that you could get out of the four-day session. Not so! This year everyone who registered for AARC Congress is receiving free access to nearly all of the sessions. If you couldn’t make it to the meeting but would still like to take advantage of the great content, you can purchase the video series online. The special member price is just $79! The Congress video sessions are supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Dräger.

You have until Jan. 15 to submit a lecture proposal for this year’s AARC International Respiratory Convention & Exhibition in Anaheim, CA, Nov. 16-19.

2013 Education Annual: Submission Deadline Coming Up Feb. 15
Every year the AARC publishes the Respiratory Care Education Annual to provide a forum for educators to share everything from original research to point-of-view essays. The submission deadline for the 2013 edition is February 15, so if you have a paper you believe is worthy of this refereed journal, consider submitting it today. Completed manuscripts should be emailed as a Word document to Shawna Strickland at strickland@aarc.org.


ARCF Education Awards: Encourage Your Students to Apply
Educators, if you have a student who you believe stands out from the crowd, encourage him or her to apply for one of the ARCF’s 2013 Education Recognition Awards. Winners will receive a monetary award plus registration and airfare to attend AARC Congress 2013 in Anaheim this Nov. 16–19. The application deadline is June 15.


RESPIRATORY CARE New Website Features

  • RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an increasingly popular way for users to keep track of updates to their favorite websites without having to actually visit the site. RESPIRATORY CARE offers RSS Feeds of current and recent titles and abstracts.
  • Your journal’s Papers in Press contains just accepted papers published online, prior to appearing in the print journal. A great way for you to read the articles months before official publication.
  • Email Alerts is a free service providing table of contents, searching, articles citation, and other email-based alerts for RESPIRATORY CARE.
