Join. Renew. Win.
Every organization knows there is strength in numbers, and this year we’re working to build our numbers at the AARC through a new membership campaign. Our first quarterly iPad prize to renewing members will be awarded soon after Jan. 31. If your dues lapse at the end of this month, get them in soon to be eligible for the drawing.

Jan 29 Webcast Will Help You Improve Safety

TJC Field Survey on Alarm Management: Let Your Voice be Heard
The Joint Commission has proposed a new Patient Safety Goal on alarm management, and we’re urging all of our members to weigh in by completing the field survey on the TJC website. The survey should take no more than about 15 minutes and will help ensure the RT’s voice is heard. Once you’ve completed the survey, forward the link to your colleagues as well so that as many RTs as possible get the chance to express their opinions.

Chance Meeting: A Traveler's Flu Dilemma
AARC member Miguel A. Bustillos, RRT, is giving all of us something to think about this week in his AARConnect blog on the flu epidemic and what the media is (or, more precisely, is not) doing to help people understand how to minimize transmission of the disease.
