Your
Profile Page Awaits!
The holidays are over, and if you’re like most people, that means you
have a little more free time on your hands. If you’ve yet to explore the
AARC’s new social networking site, AARConnect, put that free time to work
by visiting the site and filling out your profile page. Every AARC member
already has one on the site—all you need to do is enter some information
about your background and interests and upload a photo. It’s the first
step to getting better connected to 50,000+ colleagues in the AARC who
can help you enhance your career!
Roundtables,
Part 1
The AARC supports 11 Roundtables where you can network with like-minded
members in specific practice areas, all at no extra cost. We’re highlighting
all of them on the AARC website this month, beginning with the first six
this week.
First Oxy-Phile Book Available for Free Download
The second edition of Dr. Tom Petty’s book for home oxygen users, Adventures of an Oxy-Phile2, is on sale now, but you can download the first edition for FREE on his website. Both the first and second editions would make a great addition to your discharge planning and/or patient education materials.
Good Press: AARC Members in the News
This edition features some great newsmakers, including a member who’s gotten her dad to play Santa in her NICU for the past 11 years.
