Last Chance to Submit Congress RFPs
The deadline to submit proposals for lectures/symposiums at the 2009 AARC International Respiratory Congress coming up Dec. 5-8 in San Antonio, TX, is quickly approaching. Please submit your RFPs no later than midnight on Sat. Jan. 31. And if you have questions about the process, e-mail them to Crystal Maldonado.


TJC Requests AARC Representation on PTAC
The AARC has answered a call from The Joint Commission (TJC) to send representatives to TJC’s influential Ambulatory Care Professional Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC). Michael Hewitt and Suzanne Bollig will serve on the Ambulatory Care PTAC, joining four other AARC members who are already serving on PTACs for home care and laboratory services.


Congress-Goer Featured on The Tonight Show
AARC member Michelle Barker traveled to California last December to attend the AARC Congress. But she came home with some newfound fame. While sitting in the audience at The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Dec. 12, she was selected to participate in a segment called “You Make the Call.” Click on the link to read more about it and view the video.
