Research Made Easy
Heated high flow nasal cannulas are increasingly being used with patients, but the scientific evidence on their effectiveness is lacking. In order to spur respiratory therapists to research this topic, the AARC has created an IRB-vetted research protocol institutions can use in part or in whole to conduct clinical trials. This benefit was funded in part through an unrestricted grant from Tri-anim.
