AARC's Medicare Bill Reintroduced into Senate
The new Congress has only recently convened, but the AARC is already making great headway with its Medicare Respiratory Therapy Initiative. The bill was reintroduced into the U.S. Senate as S. 343 on Jan. 30. If enacted, the legislation will significantly improve the ability of qualified respiratory therapists to provide smoking cessation, asthma management, medication education, inhaler training, and other important services.
