RT to the Rescue, Part 2

Last Chance to Have Some Fun with 65!
The AARC will be 65 on April 15, and we’re asking everyone to help celebrate by entering our “Fun with 65” contest. The rules are simple (just illustrate the numeral “65” in a creative way) and the prizes are great (three gift certificates to the AARC Store for the top three entries). So start brainstorming ideas today–but hurry! The contest ends next Wed., Feb. 15.

AARC Cited as Source on The Today Show
The Today Show on NBC ran a segment on sleep problems this week, and the AARC was cited as the source for statistics on sleep apnea in the “crawl” that appeared on the bottom of the screen. With millions of viewers tuning in to The Today Show every morning, that translates to millions of eyes on the “AARC” name!

PPUSA + World Asthma Day = Great Press Opportunities
World Asthma Day is coming up in just a few short months (May 1), and that means NOW is a great time to start thinking of ways to raise asthma awareness in your community. The AARC’s Peak Performance USA program is the perfect place to start. Learn more about this turnkey program and how it can foster better school-based management of asthma in your local schools. Get it going before the big event and then invite local media to accompany you to a school in May to see how it works!
