Lobby Week: Your Chance to Support Next Week’s Day on the Hill
Our Virtual Lobby Week has gotten off to a great start, but we’re asking you to keep those emails flowing into your members of Congress. Your respiratory therapist colleagues in the AARC PACT will be on Capitol Hill next Tuesday to lobby Congress on the Medicare Respiratory Therapy Initiative, and the more emails Congress receives before these RTs “Hit the Hill,” the stronger their message will be. So gather your co-workers, family, friends, patients, and whomever, and help bring the RT message to Congress. Then follow the “action” next Tuesday on the Virtual Lobby Week page by reading the tweets from RTs who will be making those Hill visits.
Sleep, Pulmonary Rehab Take Center Stage in March
Both sleep and pulmonary rehabilitation will be in the news this month, as the nation marks National Sleep Awareness Week™ March 5–11 and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week March 11–17. The AARC has resources you can use to mark both of these annual occasions. Act

Patient Safety Checklists Address Oxygenation During Hospital Transports
The AARC has two new checklists you can use to ensure safe intra-hospital transports for your patients. The first addresses oxygenation for neonates/newborns and the second covers oxygenation for pediatric/adult patients.
