PACT Makes a Big Impact on Capitol Hill
Our Political Advocacy Contact Team (PACT) was in Washington, DC, on Tuesday to educate members of Congress on the Medicare Respiratory Therapy Initiative, and by all reports, the day was a huge success. PACT members had more than 300 meetings on Capitol Hill, and you all helped too, by reinforcing their messages with over 12,000 emails sent out to members of Congress. AARC Times Seeking “Rewarding Moment” Stories
Every RT has experienced a moment during his/her career that stands out. Maybe it was the time you figured out a new way to help a patient breathe easier. Maybe it came when a coworker recognized your efforts to go the extra mile. Or maybe it happened when the family member of a patient pulled you aside to tell you how much you meant to them.

Now it’s time to share these stories with your fellow AARC members. Submit your “Most Rewarding Moment” stories—300 words or less, please—directly to Debbie Bunch at DebBunch@aol.com by April 6 and we’ll consider them for an upcoming issue of AARC Times. NOTE: We’re specifically looking for stories that relate to patient care.
