The Drive4COPD campaign, of which AARC is a part, has just received a
national public relations award recognizing its accomplishments in the
health care sector. The PRWeek Healthcare Campaign of the Year
award went to the initiative for its ability to integrate traditional
and digital communications and bring diverse components together to drive
success.

Many members have called in asking how they might help our neighbors in
Japan. AARC suggests the international Red Cross who coordinates disaster
efforts.
Plan Your 2011 Education with AARC Professor's Rounds
Order the 2011 AARC Professor's Rounds series and help staff meet
licensure and regulatory continuing education requirements. The first
of eight current educational topics on DVD will be shipped April 1, with
additional DVDs following monthly. Earn up to 8 CRCEs for your staff with
lectures on COPD, sleep, VAP, safety, noninvasive ventilation, tracheostomy,
mechanical ventilation, and PEEP. Professor's Rounds are available in

June 1 is the deadline for submitting your abstracts for consideration
in the 2011 Open Forum sessions at the AARC Congress. Publication in the
Journal and consideration for ARCF Fellowship awards are possibilities
for all abstracts submitted.
