The 58th International Respiratory Convention & Exhibition will take place in New Orleans, LA, Nov. 10–13, but it’s not too early to register. In fact, with our Early Bird savings going on now, it’s the perfect time to firm up your plans.

AARC and other groups have gotten together to create a Pulmonary Rehab
Toolkit, with information and examples you need to accurately establish
the charges for your pulmonary rehab programs when you bill Medicare.

& Asthma Health Publishes Spring Issue
The Spring edition of our online consumer magazine, Allergy & Asthma
Health, is up on YourLungHealth.Org now, so take a few minutes to read
through the issue and then recommend it to your patients with asthma and
allergies.
International
Fellowship Program: City Hosts, Fellowship Applicants Wanted
The AARC is looking for city hosts for its 2012 International Fellowship
Program, so if you’re interested in hosting a colleague from abroad
this fall, read more about it and then apply. We’re also seeking
applicants for the 2012 Fellowships themselves, and interested clinicians
from countries outside the U.S. are encouraged to apply. All applications
must be in by June 1.
CDC
Launches New Anti-Smoking Campaign
The AARC sat in on a news conference this week to introduce a new hard-hitting
anti-smoking campaign from the CDC. “Tips from Former Smokers”
features former smokers who share the negative impact smoking has made
on their lives.
