Seeks Funding Increases for NCHS, AHRQ
The AARC has joined fellow organizations in asking Congress to ensure
adequate funding for two key government agencies. As a member of the
Friends of NCHS and Friends of AHRQ coalitions, we've signed on
to letters noting the important role the National Center for Health Statistics
and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality play in our nation's
health care system.

2009: Register Now, Learn More About San Antonio
The AARC Congress is still a few months away, but it’s not
too soon to register—in fact, now is the perfect time, because Early
Bird discounts end April 30—and it’s also not too soon to
begin learning more about our 2009 venue and what it has to offer. To
help, we’ve teamed up with the San Antonio Convention & Visitors
Bureau to create a new "microsite" especially for Congress goers.
Check it out here.

ND Students Help
Kids with CF
Students in the St. Alexius Medical Center/University of Mary RT
program are putting smiles on the faces of children with CF.
Thanks to their
efforts, these kids can now watch movies from a great new DVD
library during those boring down times in the hospital.
