State
Society Continues to Address Medication Delivery Issue
The AARC has been working with the North Carolina Society
and CMS on issues surrounding the appropriate window for the administration
of respiratory
medications for about a year now. But questions persist
in
some facilities. Now the state society has issued further
clarification on
its web site.
New
Guide to Help Patients Avoid Infections
Two leading medical societies have just published a new guide for patients
aimed at helping them avoid hospital-acquired infections. The guide is
based on recommendations included in professional guidelines released
last year with AARC input.
