Let’s Keep the Open Forum Momentum Going!
Last year’s Open Forum at the AARC Congress featured a record-breaking number of sessions, and we’re hoping to do even better this year in New Orleans, Nov. 10–13. Help us keep the momentum going by sharing your clinical studies, case reports, and other scientific endeavors through this great venue. Submissions are due in by June 1 and can be made right online using our Easy Street web portal.

Apply Now for ARCF Fellowships and Awards
The ARCF bestows a host of educational awards and fellowships every year at the AARC Congress, and now is the time to apply. We have multiple undergraduate and graduate education awards available for students, as well as research fellowships for RTs interested in pursuing scientific investigations important to the profession. The application deadline is June 15. Winners receive a monetary award, along with registration and airfare to attend AARC Congress 2012 in New Orleans, Nov. 10–13.

International Fellowship Program Looking for City Hosts, Fellowship Applicants
The 2012 AARC International Fellowship Program is gearing up now, and we’re looking for AARC members across the country who would be willing to host a Fellow in their city this fall. Applications are being sought for 2012 Fellows as well. If you’re a respiratory professional from outside the U.S. who’d like to apply for a Fellowship, or a U.S. RT interested in a city host position, click on the link to read more about it. The deadline for both is June 1.

Summer Meetings Promise a Wealth of Need-to-Know Information
The AARC Summer Meetings in Santa Fe, NM, this July 12–15 will offer a wealth of need-to-know information for managers and educators in respiratory care, so check out the program and make your travel plans today. All the sessions will take place at the beautiful Hilton Santa Fe Resort & Spa at Buffalo Thunder.

Been on a Medical Mission? AARC Times Wants to Hear from You!
Our December International Issue of AARC Times will include a “Medical Missions Around the World” feature story. We welcome brief stories from AARC members who have gone oversees on medical missions. Please note the 1000 word limit and submission deadline of August 15, 2012. Photos taken during your medical missions are also welcome (must be 2 megabytes or more).
