Swine Flu Webcast Still Available for Viewing
AARC member and Vice Chair of the National Commission on Children and Disasters Dr. Michael Anderson presented a webcast on swine flu earlier this week. But if you missed it, no worries – the program was recorded and you can watch it at your convenience.


Resources on Swine Flu Updated
The AARC continues to keep watch for materials to help you deal with the H1N1 virus. One of those comes from the Cochrane Library, which is making its evidence-based information on flu prevention and treatment available free of charge.

We’re also keeping up with Guidance Updates from the CDC, WHO, and other groups.

Pediatrics readers are learning all about a respiratory therapist-driven ventilator protocol in their May issue. Developed by Canadian researchers, the protocol reduced weaning times and days on mechanical ventilation for preterm infants.
