Countdown to Summer Meetings
It’s not too late to plan your trip to Marco Island and the AARC Summer Meetings. See what’s offered.

AARC Urges States to Adopt Position Statement
The AARC has sent a letter to all state Medicaid directors asking them to officially adopt the Association’s position statement on respiratory care in skilled nursing facilities. A similar letter was sent to the state Boards of Respiratory Care. The goal: encourage states to do what Tennessee has already done—incorporate the AARC standards into state Medicaid law.

Beware of Deceptive Promotion
The Association is warning members about a deceptive promotion from a company making antibacterial nasal cannulas. The company is erroneously suggesting the AARC supports and Joint Commission standards require the use of these devices.
