Drive4COPD Webcast Set for Monday
Tune into our special Drive4COPD webcast on Mon., July 26, at 2 p.m. Eastern time to learn how the AARC is involved in this national campaign featuring Danica Patrick, Jim Belushi, and other celebrities. We’ll be announcing a contest that will raise the fun in a campaign to increase the number of people screened for COPD and the awareness of RTs at the same time. Everyone will have the chance to participate, so don’t miss the kick off webcast on Monday!

Virtual Lobby Day Coming Up Aug. 4
The AARC is designating Wed., Aug. 4, as a “Virtual Lobby Day,” so mark your calendars today and then make plans to call, e-mail, or visit your members of Congress to promote passage of HR 1077/S 343, our Medicare Respiratory Therapy Initiative. Let’s flood our elected officials with the voices of the profession on the fourth!

Deceptive Marketing Still an Issue
The AARC is continuing to alert members about an inaccurate product promotion from a Texas company. The company is erroneously stating that the AARC supports their product and that The Joint Commission is mandating its use.
