AARC to Participate in Development of COPD Inpatient Protocol

This effort will seek to address deficiencies and opportunities in emergency department, acute care, and post discharge of patients with COPD. The first meeting occurred July 28.

The AARC is expanding!
Our servers and network have reached their capacity.  As a result, we are in the process of upgrading.  Starting Friday morning, Aug. 12, all of our online services will be unavailable.  You will not be able to register for courses, take online tests, or use AARConnect.  We expect to be back in service Sunday Aug. 14. Thank you for your patience as we improve our ability to serve our members.

Enter the AARC Times Photo Contest
Be sure to snap some great shots of your co-workers and/or patients in action and then submit them to our 2011 AARC Times’ Photo Contest. We’re awarding free AARC membership on renewal to all of our winners, and the grand prize winner will see his/her photo on the cover of our Feb. 2012 issue! All photos must be submitted by Sept. 10.

Benchmarking Made Just for RC
Benchmarking is a key tool in hospitals today, but standard systems often fall short when it comes to RC departments. The AARC Benchmarking System is the answer. Developed especially for RC departments, it’s your best bet for supporting administrative decisions and identifying and promoting best professional practices.
