The AARC’s 2012 elections ended last week and now the results are in. Click on the link to see who will be leading our Association over the coming year and beyond.

Pre-Course Registration Ends Friday
Are you planning on attending one of the courses on hospital readmissions or mechanical ventilation? They are both being held on Friday, Nov. 4, but you must register by tomorrow (Oct. 14) if you want to attend. Cogress registrants get deeply discounted rates to either of these courses.

24M Monument Visits State Fair of Texas
AARC COO and Associate Executive Director Tom Kallstrom was on hand to help unveil DRIVE4COPD’s new 24M monument at the State Fair of Texas last week. Sculptor Michael Kalish was there too to explain how he came up with the design for his 24 giant pinwheels.

RFPs for AARC Congress 2012
We know AARC Congress 2011, Nov. 5–8 in Tampa, FL, is still several weeks away, but plans are already underway for AARC Congress 2012, coming up next Nov. 10–13 in New Orleans, LA. So take a few minutes to brainstorm ideas for lectures and/or symposia you’d like to see on the program and then submit them via our Easy Street online submission process.
