AARC Can Help Fulfill Year End Education Needs
AARC members can earn CRCE to meet year end licensure needs by successfully completing AARC self-study courses. Courses cover ethics, aerosol delivery devices, asthma triggers, PAP adherence, reimbursement, protocols, inhaled nitric oxide, neonatal intensive care, COPD, and more.

EPA Asthma Award: Apply Today!
The EPA is accepting applications now for its 2012 National Environmental Leadership Award in Asthma Management. Click on the link to learn more about this award program and how you and your program can apply. The application deadline is Feb. 21, and everything you need is right online.


AARC Says Stick with Dec. 31 for Epinephrine Withdrawal
Some members of Congress are asking the EPA to allow Primatene Mist to be sold until existing stock is depleted, even if that means going past the Dec. 31 date set for withdrawal of the key ingredient, epinephrine, from the market. The AARC and six sister organizations are crying foul in a new letter to EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, citing  detrimental effects on asthma patients.
