Congress Proposals: Deadline Extended to Jan. 11
We know everyone’s busy these days, so we’re giving you all a little more time to submit your proposals for topics and speakers at AARC Congress 2012, coming up next Nov. 10–13 in New Orleans. Take a few moments to consider what you’d like to hear about when we hit the Crescent City next fall, then use our Easy Street submission portal to weigh in with your suggestions by Jan. 11.

IOM Releases Allied Health Report
A summary of a workshop on the allied health workforce and health reform is now available from the Institute of Medicine. AARC was represented at the conference that examined allied health and health care access, effectiveness, and quality.

Roundtables Offers Targeted Information, Networking Opportunities

Called “Roundtables,” they are more informal than a section, but still offer the chance to network with like-minded colleagues via dedicated discussion lists on AARConnect.
